Here is the breaking news for Thala Ajith fans. News is at a buzz in Kollywood that Billa-2 was put on hold due to director Vishnuvardhan’s Telugu project but now it is clear that the film will move to sets as soon as Thala completes Mankatha.
Director Vishnuvardhan is all set to direct his favourite actor Ajith. The film will be a prequel as said earlier and the duo is going to kick the floors in early April 2011. Vishnuvardhan has completed the script of Billa-2 long back and is waiting for Ajith.

Vishnuvardhan known for his perfect timing in completing the films is going to complete Billa- 2 in 90 days. Anushka is in consideration opposite Ajith and many suggested her name to Director Vishnuvardhan. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, while Nirav Shah is incharge of cinematography.
The filmmakers are predicting for a release anytime between December 2011 and February 2012.
