Vikram Bhatt HAUNTED Is First Stereoscopic Film In India

Vikram Bhatt's upcoming movie 'Haunted' is India’s first stereoscopic 3D film . ‘Haunted’, will also be India’s first horror film in 3D format, with Hollywood technicians working on it.

After gripping audiences with ‘Raaz’, ‘1920’, and ‘Shaapit’ noted filmmaker Vikram Bhatt wanted to take a step further in the same genre, but in 3D.

The story has been penned by Bhatt himself, and revolves around certain happenings in a house with a secret past and a haunted present.

The ace Director has roped in the 3D technicians and supports from Canada who have earlier worked in the 3D genre. The spooky saga will illumine Mahakshay Chakraborty and new find Tia Bajpai.

Bhatt claims that the film is his ‘most expensive and ambitious project till date’. The movie is in its post production stage and will hit the screen early next year.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge completed 15 years of continuous run at Maratha Mandir in Mumbai. The film was released on 20th October 1995 and remains one of the biggest hits in the history of Indian cinema.

On 21st October Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge completed 15 years and its 783rd week. The collection was around 20,000 in its 783rd week and till date the film has done around 12.25 crore nett from Mumbai city in 15 years.

DDLJ as its fondly known seems sure to hit the 800 week run mark in January 2011.

Guzaarish (English: Request) is an upcoming Hindi-language Indian Bollywood film being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in leading roles.
The movie will revolve around the story of a married nurse (Aishwarya Rai) and a quadriplegic, wheelchair-using patient Ethan (Hrithik Roshan), suffering from impairments of the motor and sensory functions of his limbs, with whom she develops an intimate bond. The first schedule for the film began in July 2009. The production was completed in April 2010.
It has been reported that both Hrithik and Aishwarya will sing a song for the movie together. The song is composed by Bhansali himself. This will not be the first time when Hrithik sings for a movie. He has already sung a song in his last film Kites which has been appreciated and has been received well by many. The pair was said to be learning Portuguese for the movie as well, which was primarily shot in Goa and studios in Mumbai, India. Hrithik also sported a beard for the role.
Aishwarya Rai has previously worked with Bhansali in two films, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and Devdas (2002). So far, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai have earlier starred together in two movies together: Dhoom 2 (2006) and Jodhaa Akbar (2008).

Brindavanam hit 750 screen on Thursday and the producer of the film Dil Raju left no stones unturned to make this film a success and at the moment from the initial reaction, it seems that NTR and Dil Raju’s team will make this film a hit. The film is a love story but without the titillating quotient, hence it will attract the family audience.


The role that NTR has portrayed appears to be a tailor made for him and he has essayed the role of Krishna with élan. Also it is a treat to watch this handsome young man’s dance as well as pour his raw energy and brutality out during the fight sequences. Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha are the two leading ladies opposite NTR and both have managed to get good reviews from the audience.


The movie has got good opening in Bengaluru and Chennai. Sources say that it has also got good responses from abroad.
