Top Five Actors 2010

Salman Khan in Dabangg

Salman Khan dominated the year with his one man show in Dabangg. The film was one of the biggest hits of all time and was probably the biggest show of star power since Sunny Deol in Gadar. Both films being total driven by by larger than life towering performances of male lead and becoming humungous blockbusters. The other release of Salman Khan Veer did well in 2/3 circuits but overall was poor.

Ajay Devgan had the best year of his career with Golmaal 3, Raajneeti and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai all becoming major hits. His Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? also did fairly well but Aakrosh and Toonpur Ka Superrhero were poor.

Ranbir Kapoor continued his steady climb with the blockbuster Raajneeti where he dominated in a big cast. His other release Anjaana Anjaani was also a success mainly due to the star power of Ranbir.

Akshay Kumar had two winners in Housefull and Tees Maar Khan. Khatta Meetha also made money but did not perform well theatrically while Action Replayy bit the dust.

Shahrukh Khan had a hit in My Name Is Khan. Overseas it became the biggest grosser ever for an Indian film.
