SRK’s Sci-Fi Movie Ra.One Confirmed For Diwali Release

Post the super success of Robot, the expectations from science fiction films have gone several notches up. So, filmmakers are taking every care to ensure the audiences are assured of the global standards in the graphics and the technicality. Anubhav Sinha’s Ra.One that stars Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor is one of the most anticipated films this year. The shooting of the film is wrapped up and the post-production work has already begun.

When a good film is made, it needs to be smartly marketed and released at the right time. Even the best of the projects would loose their charm if they aren’t publicised well. SRK on this count isn’t taking any chance. Diwali his favourite part of the year that gave him memorable films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, DDLJ and Om Shanti Om is all set to release his venture on October 26th that presents a wonderful opportunity to rake in huge collections.

We Are Family To Come A Week Earlier On 3rd September

We Are Family featuring Kareena Kapoor, Kajol and Arjun Rampal will be released a week earlier than schedule. The film will now release on 3rd September and not on 10th September.

This will allow the film an open week which should be beneficial for the film as the first week is most important and no competition can lead to better business.

It will also mean domination at multiplexes as well as best screen timings while on 10th September it would have faced competition for screens from Dabangg.
